District Badminton Championship 2018 – 2019 was organised by Coimbatore Badminton Association between 28th June 2018 to 1st July 2018. Nandhabalan.M of class XI Management represented our school and emerged as the runner up for the event U – 17 Boys Doubles. Kovai Sahodoya School Complex – Inter School Tennis Tournament was organised by Saratha International School on 7th July 2018. 5 students participated from our school and emerged as Winners and Runners. 44th National Under 15 Open/35th National Under 15 Girls’ Championships 2018 held at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, West Bengal between 17th July 2018 to 25th July 2018. Darell Walldo Jude of IX represented Tamilnadu State and scored 5.5 points out of 11 rounds and was placed 140/248 in the Merit List.

Kovai Sahodaya Schools Inter School Throw ball Tournament was organised by Viswa Sisya Vidyodaya School on 20th July 2018. U – 14, U – 17 & U- 19 Girls team emerged as Runner Up. . Janani.K.S of XII B received a Trophy for Best Player in U – 19 Girls Category.

Combined Annual Training Camp 2018 was conducted by 4TN Battalion NCC, Coimbatore at Rathnam College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore between 18th July 2018 to 27th July 2018. 8 Cadets from our school attended the camp. Our cadet Pooja Shree of Class IX got selected as the best cadet in cultural events. She has attended the IGC/RDC Training Camp I held between 27th August 2018 to 5th September 2018 at Angel College of Engineering and Technology, Tirupur.

Kovai Sahodaya Schools Complex Inter School Swimming Tournament was organised by Chettinad Vidya Mandir on 20th August 2018. 4 of our students represented our school and emerged as successful winners.

Coimbatore District Tennis Association AITA – Championship Series – National Ranking Tennis Tournament held at SV Tennis Centre, Singanallur between 25th August 2018 to 27th August 2018. Armaan Ahmed.I of class IX represented our school and emerged as winner in U – 14 category.

Kovai Chess Mates organized District level Chess Tournament on 26th August 2018. Darell Walldo Jude.H of Class IX participated and secured 3.5 out of possible 5 points in U -15 category. He ranked 11th place. He received a Certificate and a Trophy. Friends Chess Club organized 13th State Level Juniors & 3rd Open Chess tournament 2018 on 1st and 2nd of September 2018. Darell Walldo Jude of class IX participated and secured 5 out of possible 8 points and he ranked 15th. He received a certificate and Cash Award .

Levo Sports - AITA Talent (7) Boys & Girls Under 12 & 16. Armaan Ahmed. I of class IX participated for U -16 Category and emerged as the winner in Singles and entered in to Quarter Finals in Doubles held between 3rd September 2018 to 7th September 2018.

Nandana.A.M of XI Management participated in South Zone Skating Competition on 10th October 2018 and secured Gold Medal in 300 m and got selected for National Level held at Chatisgarh between 26th to 28th of November 2018. She also participated in District Roller Skating Championship held at Coimbatore between 26th October 2018 to 28th October 2018.She won Gold Medals in 500m (rink), 100 m (road), 500m (road) and Rink Elimination (15 km).
